courgette, tomato
This is my first zucchini plant ever, in which I am properly chuffed. These make impressive balcony plants with attractive flowers. They're amazing to observe from seed. Their growth can be tracked daily. Suggestion: plant only a few as they tend to dominate with large elephant-ear foliage.
First tomato of the season what I growed on the balcony. Some kind of heirloom.

Lying brain
Apparently our brains interpret color by comparing them with their surroundings. The trick of this illusion is the orange lines cut through the green spirals but not through the blue spirals. It looks as if the orange lines cut through the blue spirals but they do not, those are pink lines cutting through blue, and this forces our brains to reinterpret both colors.
